Go check out put in a game title and see what they say, then compare it with the ESRB ratings and the Parent/Kid reviews.You're right with Common Sense Media, as that's people who actually played the games (ESRB doesn't, they just watch the footage) but you shouldn't even bother with what their staff has to say and just go to the Parents/Kids reviews. Just because the ESRB says it's for some age group doesn't mean it is. snip- Maybe this situation would be better if parents were more open minded and actually looked into games before judging what the ratings boards have to say about them, because ratings boards can be VERY biased.Both those points are probably the best ones I've seen here, especially the second one. If you have a very easily influenced kid who doesn't know reality has consequences, you shouldn't let him play a violent video game because he might want to try those actions out in real life.
